Well this sucks

My laptops hard drive died last monday. Today, I got a new one, and it doesn't work. I'm going to take it to the IT guy at my boarding school, but until he can get it fixed, I don't think I'm going to do any minecraft type blog posts. Thank you for all who are following me.
Happy miecrafting.

New beginnings

This island is boring. It's time to go out and find something awesome.

Boat ready. I got an extra one in case this one breaks.
Cool view #1

Cool view #2

Well, I've come to the realization that my main island is much more exciting.
Back home we go.

There's my signal tower.

I know this might seem a bit out of place, but I'm making a bamboo farm. I thought since I had 30 of the stuff, I'd put it to use.

Well, I gotta go. Off to my dorm. This may or may not be the last post until next friday.
Have a good week
Happy minecrafting.

ADVENTURE!

So, the main part of the castle was finished. The ceiling was easy, thanks to crouching.
(as you can see, I'm using the default texture pack again. But, I think I'm going to stick with this one, and make some changes along the way. If you look closely, the torch, shovel, and diamond pick look different. I also edited some of the block textures, you might see some of those later.)

But now, to highlight what this game is all about. Going on adventures.
I'm packing light. No reason to lose 4 iron picks over a creeper exploding on me.
I probably should make getting a compass and making a bow my first 2 priorities.

Anyway, I'm off.

Goodbye for now, castle. We won't be apart for long.

Aw crap.

Huh, I just found out if you stand in one place and just hold down the mouse button, they can't get close enough to kill you.
Cool.

Why hello there. I don't think I'm going to bother you.

I thought this was a pretty cool view.

Oh hey look a cave.
 ...
That was a pretty boring cave. I only found 8 iron ores.
Better than nothing.

So, I turn around, and...
Another cave! This one's making some pretty menacing noises, though.

Goin' in.
This looks promising.

 Oh look. More coal.

Oh hi there.
The current creeper count: 3
The current iron count: 24
The current coal count : 5 billion
The current scary spider noises count: Way too many.

This chicken seems to be in the wrong neighborhood.

Cave spoils:
2 and a half stacks of coal (a stack is 64)
29 iron ore

Pretty good expedition if you ask me.
Now to venture back to my base.

Maybe I should wait until morning.

Well, I just dug myself a little 1x1x2 hole in the ground, and I'll wait until morning.
I friggin hate skeletons.

Anyway, this more or less concludes my adventure.
Happy minecrafting.

Updates suck

The new updates(s) did the following:
Give me an error
Grey screen of death
Crash my computer entirely
So, no new blog posts until this actually gets fixed.
What a great way to start the week.

Castle castle castle

Ah, that's much better. The texture pack is working, and this floor is cleared out. Now, onto the ceiling.

Aw balls, I'm out of cobblestone. Hmm, Maybe I should just work on the underground part, now.
Yeah, I think I'm going to start on the basement.
Lookin' sharp.
anyway, basement basement basement.

Coming along pretty good so far. I think I'm just going to make this one room, and expand from here.
This can be my storage/furnace room.

Okay, so I go out, to get some wood, and some stone.
Guess who's waiting for me outside my door?

I was greeted with three simultaneous "SSSSSS"
My first reaction was "HOLY SHIT HAUL ASS NOW.", and I think that might be the best option, seeing as if I get close enough to hit them, they're bound to explode.
I need a bow.
Well, that haul ass idea didn't go as planned. One of their buddies are still hanging out at my base.
Aren't creepers supposes to catch on fire while in sunlight? Huh.
Like I said earlier, I need a bow.
Anyway, back to work on the basement. This room is looking pretty good so far.

Oh hey, it's night time. Time to go murder the crap out of some spiders.

Creepers EVERYWHERE
Spiders NOWHERE
Oh SHIT.
SKELETON SKELETON
CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP

Base! And With 8 hearts to spare.
I wish I could have captured it, but another skeleton CUT ME OFF on the beeline to my base.
They're communicating, I swear. They're not smart enough for me, though!
"SSSSSSSsss"
Why hello there. No, I'm not interested in what you're selling, please leave.
"SSSSSSSSSS"
I'm calling the police.
"ssssssSSsss"
Yeah, that's what I thought. Good day to you, sir.

Okay, I think that's enough getting shot at and blown up and chased after for one day.
There might be another blog later today.
Happy minecrafting.

It's a new day

It's a new day, full of oppurtunity, and freedom. I have a ton of cobblestone, a diamond pickaxe, and a leather vest. I'm ready to take on the world. Now what should I build?
I think I'm going to build a castle.
A LARGE castle.
And it's going to be AWESOME.

It's coming along nicely so far.
Okay, this is the point where I realized "HOLY CRAP MY TEXTURE PACK IS BACK TO DEFAULT FUUUUU"
I'll just continue as-is for the rest of this post, then switch back for the next one.
Also, I just saw a creeper and almost pissed myself.
I need sticks, I'm going out.
 Nevermind.

Those sticks can wait until sunrise.
The next morning:

That's enough minecrafting for one night.
I need some sleep. See you all tomorrow.

Welcome to world 1

Welcome to my humble adobe. There are 3 furnaces on either side, two chests, and one workbench.
I shall wait until morning, then go exploring.
Oh look, a flying cow. Time to get some leather, and make some armor.

In my cow murdering frenzy, I seem to have come across a large hole. The cow I was persuing jumped down the hole, and killed itself. Not the smartest move, but at least I've found an unexplored cave.

I have reached the bottom. What a glorious find! Iron and gold! This will certainly come in handy.
Disregard that I already have a diamond pick (plus one), this is still a fun find. Time to keep exploring.

My exploration seems to have been cut short due to there not being any cave left to explore.
There's also water, just if you hadn't figured that out yet.

I think I'm going to stop here, for now.
How do you all like the format? Anything I should change, anything you want me to add on? I'm all ears.
Happy minecrafting.

Why hello there

Hello there, my name is Bradley. At least 75% of my spare time is spent playing minecraft, because it is the best game ever.
If you do not know what minecraft is, kindly pull your head out of your ass and google it.
For those who don't know, mnecraft is an adventure/survival game built on a system of blocks. You can gather blocks, make tools to gather blocks faster, and build anything that you can think of.

For those who know what minecraft is, I am using a different texture pack that I found on Facepunch, (The RPG texture pack. Thanks, dgg!)and I will post it below. (http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=999544)
Well, I don't really know how to end this so, see you whenever I post another blog, which will most likely be in about 30 minutes.
